According to the Finnish Geriatric Intervention Study to Prevent Cognitive Impairment and Disability, “it is possible to reduce the risk of decline with lifestyle changes.” 

In this program, you’ll learn how to make the right lifestyle choices for optimal brain vitality and to improve the quality of life for you and your loved ones.

Optimization

Optimize your brain-gut connection.

Why do you think you get an upset stomach when you are stressed or upset? Because research has identified that there’s a critical link between the brain and the gut. That is why the gut has been coined the ‘Second Brain’, or enteric nervous system.

This program will teach you nutrition principles to help optimize your brain health by nourishing the microbiome (bacteria living in the gut) that influences your brain. 

It will include personalized diet suggestions and specific nutritional supplement recommendations that will noticeably influence your overall health. 

You’ll receive a Brain Resiliency Plan that is customized to fit your needs and strengths. This individualized plan will be updated as you grow, adapt, and become more resilient over time.

Measurement

Knowing the health of your brain gives you a place to start.

You will be referred to your doctor and local labs to gather baseline information about your brain health markers, giving you a clear starting point to work from and improve upon.

Prevention

Use it or lose it!

Our program uses brain-boosting techniques to help you grow new brain cells through a process called neurogenesis. Rewiring your brain is possible. Cognitive training has been shown to delay and even prevent cognitive decline.

According to a study done by the Chicago Health and Aging Project, “a higher number of social networks and level of social engagement were positively associated with a higher level of cognitive function and reduced rate of cognitive decline.”

This program provides encouragement and support to help you stay involved in activities that inspire you and give you a greater sense of purpose.

This program will support both the person with a pre-diagnosis, those with cognitive decline and their dedicated caretakers. 

You will feel reassured and encouraged as you are guided throughout this process. You will come away with a clear plan, knowing the next steps and feeling more comfortable with what lies ahead.
